Training Modes

Clinton Institute offers flexible delivery options to suit different learner needs:

  • Classroom-based delivery — face-to-face training at our Melbourne and Hobart campuses
  • Simulated practical training — real-world scenarios in a supported learning environment
  • Blended learning — combination of online and in-person delivery

Assessment Modes

Clinton Institute uses an advanced suite of assessment methods at this executive level. Strategic management projects require students to develop complete organisational strategies for complex business environments, including environmental analysis, competitive positioning, resource allocation, and implementation roadmaps. Organisational needs analysis tasks require students to assess operational gaps and design comprehensive solutions for senior leadership consideration. Change management plans are developed in response to simulated organisational disruptions and assessed for strategic coherence, stakeholder engagement strategy, and risk mitigation.

Section 2

Executive-level case studies involve multi-company scenarios requiring sophisticated analysis and recommendation development. Board presentation simulations require students to deliver strategic recommendations to a simulated executive panel and respond to critical questioning. Consultancy reports are prepared for simulated client organisations and assess students' ability to diagnose business problems and propose implementable solutions. All assessments reflect the complexity and autonomy expected of senior managers and executives.

Compulsory Work Placement Arrangements

Students are required to complete practical strategic management workplace projects as part of their course to gain real-world executive-level experience. Where students are not currently employed in a senior management role, Clinton Institute assists in arranging an appropriate workplace host organisation for the practical component. The strategic project requires students to address a genuine business challenge or opportunity within the host organisation — this may include developing a change management plan, conducting an operational audit, preparing a strategic initiative proposal, or analysing and recommending improvements to an existing business process. Students present their strategic recommendations to a simulated executive panel as part of their assessment. The Trainer Assessor may conduct a site visit or formal consultation with the senior workplace supervisor to verify the authenticity and strategic depth of the project undertaken.
